New York
This is indeed a city that cannot be easily defined.
She has both materialistic avenues and a quiet and comfortable Central Park; she has art sold on the street, as well as unique and unique items; she has traditional and exquisite high-end department stores, as well as unique Soho stores; she has high-rise buildings that were built a hundred years ago, and she also has the proud works of contemporary individual architects that are about to be completed; she has small food trucks that are said to be the most unique and delicious, and top-notch food from all over the world. . .
Some people say that it is dirty and crowded, some say that it smells like copper, some say that this place represents the will of the United States, some say that the goddess of opportunity lives here and is willing to give everyone a chance, and so on. It's all New York.
I have mixed feelings about New York. There are many friends here, things I like and things I don’t like; there are a lot of delicious food here, things I like and things I like even more; there is Met and MoMa here, which I go back to again and again every time; there is Central Park and Soho, there is East Village and Tribeca, there is the shore and Brooklyn Park, there are very new and very old subway stations here, there are smelly corners here, and there are many people here, interesting people and boring people.
I went to undergraduate school so many times that I no longer bothered to look for those memories.
Maybe I can’t choose to live in New York permanently, but that doesn’t stop me from wanting to go and play in New York for a day or two. So this travelogue wants to briefly record what places may interest you if you only give New York a day or two.
